An Asbestos Management Survey is a standard inspection to locate and assess asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) in a building during normal use. Required by New Zealand's Health and Safety at Work (Asbestos) Regulations 2016, it protects occupants from asbestos exposure by providing a basis for an asbestos management plan, which details procedures for monitoring and maintaining ACMs safely. Asbestos Refurbishment and Demolition Surveys.

An Asbestos Refurbishment/Demolition Survey is a comprehensive inspection required before any refurbishment or demolition work to identify all asbestos-containing materials (ACMs). This ensures compliance with New Zealand's Health and Safety at Work (Asbestos) Regulations 2016, protecting workers and occupants from asbestos exposure, which can cause serious health issues. The survey involves intrusive inspection methods, sampling, and analysis, followed by safe removal of identified ACMs to prevent contamination and legal complications.

Asbestos Removal Project Management.

Like any specialised project, the specification, procurement and management of the works should be undertaken, or at least coordinated, by an experienced, qualified Asbestos Consultant.

By assisting you with the Asbestos Removal Management specification and tender process, we ensure both regulatory and client procurement process compliance. Our comprehensive approach to the tender process includes tender administration, management of contractor site visits, technical evaluation of the tender returns, as well as fact-based, independent recommendations for asbestos removal contractor appointments.

Licensed Assessors.

Our Assessor Services include undertaking air monitoring and clearance inspections to ensure safety and compliance with New Zealand's Health and Safety at Work (Asbestos) Regulations 2016. Our WorkSafe licensed assessors conduct air monitoring during and after asbestos removal to detect and control asbestos fibre levels. They also perform clearance inspections to verify that asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) have been safely removed and that the area is safe for reoccupation. These services are crucial for protecting workers and occupants from asbestos exposure.
