We’re looking for a Surveyor/Assessor with at least 1-2 years of experience in asbestos surveying/assessing to join our Auckland team. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone ready to take the next step. You’ll be responsible for undertaking smaller surveys and clearances independently while continuing to build experience and receive support on larger, more complex projects.
What you’ll be doing:
Carrying out asbestos surveys and inspections across a range of sites
Performing air monitoring and clearances
Working closely with senior staff on project delivery
Supporting the preparation of reports and documentation
What we’re looking for:
Minimum 12 months experience in asbestos industry
BOHS P402 and/or P404 is preferred
Assessor licence (or working towards it)
Strong attention to detail and good time management
Full NZ driver’s licence
Someone keen to grow into a more senior role over time

We’re looking for a Senior Environmental Scientist to join our growing team in Wellington. This is a newly created role with plenty of scope, ideal for someone who’s confident leading complex environmental projects, providing expert advice, and mentoring others while helping shape how we deliver our services.
What you’ll be doing:
Leading environmental assessments and investigations from proposed scope, fieldwork to reporting
Managing project delivery and ensuring high-quality outcomes
Advising clients on environmental regulations and best practice
Working across a mix of contaminated land, risk management and compliance monitoring projects
Mentoring junior team members and supporting their development
Building and maintaining strong client relationships
What we’re looking for:
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Environmental Science, Engineering or similar
10+ years in environmental consulting or related industry
Strong technical background in site contamination and remediation
CEnvP (Site Contamination Specialist) preferred
Excellent writing, analysis and problem-solving skills
Knowledge on using QGIS
Confident working independently and as part of a wider team
