We believe that soil and water are two of mankind’s most valuable assets, and seek to remediate, re-use and manage soil and water adversely impacted by human activities in a sustainable and cost effective manner.

Established in 2009, Geosciences Ltd provided environmental consulting services and advice to the commercial, residential, industrial, and agricultural sectors. In 2023, Geosciences joined forces with SQN, bringing together expertise to support clients with soil contamination, surface water pollution, and groundwater contamination across New Zealand.

Our experienced team understands New Zealand’s environmental regulatory framework and the requirements for contaminated land investigations, remediation, and validation. We also have expertise in industrial trade activity requirements, soil disposal to land, and the environmental considerations associated with earthworks on potentially contaminated sites.

SQN GeoSciences provides environmental consulting services throughout New Zealand, supporting projects across a range of industries and land uses. Whether you are planning a property development, undertaking earthworks, or managing a site affected by soil or water contamination, our team can provide practical technical and client-focused approach advice and support.
